Our Story

A House Built on Patience

Generations of quiet craftsmanship, the long influence of oak and a steady refusal to cut corners — that is the philosophy behind every cask.

Our Heritage

The house was founded by a small group of distillers who believed time was the most under-rated ingredient in spirit-making. That belief still shapes the cellar today: every reserve is permitted the years it needs and never released a season early.

The original copper stills remain in service, joined by carefully chosen cooperages across Europe and North America. Together they form a tradition that values consistency over fashion and depth over novelty.

Our Mission

Preserve a heritage of oak-aged craftsmanship while sharing reserves that reflect honest distillation, patient maturation and uncompromised character.

Our Vision

To remain a quiet reference point for collectors and connoisseurs who value the long view in everything they keep on the shelf.

What Guides the Cellar

Four principles inform every decision — from grain selection through to bottling.

🍂

Authenticity

Honest descriptions of cask, age, finish and provenance — never inflated, never adjusted to suit a season.

🕰️

Patience

Casks rest until the cellar agrees they are ready. No release is forced and no shortcut is permitted.

🤝

Stewardship

Today's choices shape what is left for the next generation of distillers, blenders and collectors.

🛠️

Craft

A deep respect for the still, the cooper and the warehouse keeper informs every step of the process.

How Reserves Are Selected

Each cask is sampled across its maturation life. Only the casks that demonstrate balance, depth and a recognisable house character are nominated for release. Others continue to rest until they earn their place.

When a small batch is married, the blend is finalised through repeated tastings, not formulas. The aim is always integrity over yield.

Who We Serve

Long-standing collectors, hospitality partners and quiet enthusiasts who care less about labels and more about what is in the glass.

For every audience, the priority is the same — transparent provenance, considered allocation and respectful customer relationships that often span decades.
